A seasonal coffee from Ethiopia — the birthplace of coffee.Named for the wash station that processed the coffee — this deliciously juicy, fruit-forward coffee is sure to light up your morning. We’re only roasting 200 bags of this coffee — so be sure to order before it’s gone!
The name Mulish comes from the washing station that processed this coffee in Ethiopia's Guji region. Still relatively young — set up in 2014 — the Mulish washing station and its founder Faisal Abdush have already established a great reputation among roasters for their meticulous processing.
Set on a slope leading down to the Mormora River, the station originally served a very small group of farmers, each farming about four hectares of land. Rich and fertile soil has brought new farmers to the region, and the Mulish station now receives cherries from 880 smallhold farmers.
Before the Mulish washing station arrived, the coffee farmers from this area had to make long, arduous trips to get their coffee to washing stations. They also did not have a school in the area – something that the Mulish team helped establish.
